This original oil over acrylic began as a series 15 hand-pulled mono-prints on paper. The papers were mounted permanently to a 24x30in wooden shadow box using archival museum adhesive and amidst the quilt-like textures of the collective collage, and the image of the gypsy among flowery trees began to emerge. The collage/ Oil on Wood is especially amazing and vibrant in person.
